Out of Home International’s Award Shortlist successes

Its awards season for the media and advertising world and our outdoor division Out of Home International have got off to a fantastic start as the team have been shortlisted for four category nominations from two major ceremonies.

The OOH International team are finalists in categories recognising their business growth, integrated campaign planning, strategic thinking, and their media buying expertise.
It was announced in early March that OOH International had been shortlisted for two RAR Finalistcategories: ‘Strategic Thinking’ and ‘Media Buying’ for the Recommended Agency Awards 2012. The finalists were decided by the RAR who judged agencies listed on their register by the anonymous scores and ratings provided by clients of each company. The clients of Out of Home International voted the agency so highly in these categories the team are finalists in the awards with absolute thanks to them.

And in further exciting news, OOH International is a finalist in two categories for the How-Do Awards 2012. The team have been nominated and shortlisted for the ‘Media Sales’ category recognising the company’s growth and innovative strategies to overcome tough economic trading climates, and creating jobs at MediaCityUK with the launch of their new division Radio Airtime Media, which specialises in radio airtime planning and buying.HowDo Award Finalist

The second award OOH International have been nominated for is the ‘Marketing / integrated communications campaign’ category for their QuickQuid – 10 Minute Money Outdoor Advertising Campaign. The proximity campaign was planned by the team who used Postcode and audience demographic data to target clusters that represent the lenders market audience. The Outdoor Advertising formats included beer mat, ATM advertising and traditional radio side six sheets and bus advertising which all featured promotional QR and offer codes specific to the area situated.

“To find out we have been shortlisted for such fantastic, notable categories at the RAR and How-do awards is an achievement in itself and the team and I are absolutely thrilled. The RAR nominations are particularly special as the recognition has come direct from our clients, to whom I would like to thank. It is a glaring reminder that our business is working to provide the highest quality of service to our clients and our strong in house team are doing an amazing job.

Equally, we are so proud to be nominated for the How-do Awards this year. The business has developed rapidly since our launch in 2010 and the company continues to flourish despite the global recession as we continue meeting the demands of our clients with great service, bespoke advertising campaigns at affordable rates, and dedicated consultants servicing their every need. Roll on April to find out the results!” John Kehoe, Managing Director.
