RAM Brings A Taste of Jamaica to London Radio

Radio Airtime Media’s latest London radio advertising campaign is promoting “Jamaica House 2017”, an exciting event celebrating Jamaican music, food and drink, sports and culture.

Held at Indigo O2 in London between 5 – 13 August, Jamaica House welcomes a whole host of well-known Jamaican music artists, such as OMI, Ziggy Marley and Steel Pulse, for a series of live performances. The event will also be offering visitors the chance to sample a wide range of traditional food and drink in a true celebration of Jamaican culture.

As the event coincides with the IAAF athletics World Championships in London, Jamaica House will also be live streaming events featuring Jamaican athletes – most notably Usain Bolt, who is competing in his last major event before his retirement.

The campaign will be targeting listeners in the Greater London area, with prime airtime spots secured on stations including Capital Xtra and Kiss FM London. The memorable 30-second advert is soundtracked by OMI’s well-known 2015 hit “Cheerleader”, appealing directly to the event’s target audience, coupled with an informative voiceover full of need-to-know details.
